Degausser Machine: The MediaVise® Rackmount Dual Sanitizer, or (MVR-DS) for short, is an innovative 2-in-1 hard drive destruction solution.
The MVR-DS is a degausser and hard drive crusher in one! This device is rack-mounted, compact, and portable for offices and data centers.
The Degausser uses a minimum magnetic field of 2 Tesla to degauss the hard drive. But degaussing alone may not be fully effective, especially on newer drive technologies in the market today.
After being degaussed, the drive is destroyed by our patented MediaVise crushing system. Our proprietary hydraulic system applies a powerful 20 tons of force.
Media is fully sanitized and destroyed in less than 25 seconds.
